The database containing disciplinary actions of the Utah Division of Occupational and Professional Licensing have been updated to reflect new information from the last several months.

In those three years, over 900 licensed professional have been sanctioned from over 475 different companies. Nearly 75 different professions and company types are reflected in the numbers.
DOPL licenses and regulates many profession throughout the state, including medical, trade and construction professions. The highest number of violators in the three-year period came from the construction trade, with 556 violators.
The second highest profession to be sanctioned were physicians and surgeons, who had 61 violators, followed by cosmetologists/barbers with 55 violators and massage therapists, who had 50 violators. Other highly sanctioned professions include unarmed private security officers, who had 36 violators, and dentists and hygienists, who had 35 violators.
The database is searchable by a person’s name, profession type, city or company.
