Real estate disciplinary actions updated

Utah’s Right to Know has been updated with 55 new entries for disciplinary actions from the Utah Division of Real Estate. The information, updated quarterly, can be searched by name, city and position.

Nearly half of those disciplined by the division were working as sales agents. Most often, those disciplined had their licensed suspended after some sort of criminal activity occurred. Twenty-nine people were fined as part of their disciplinary action, with $500 being the most common fine. Fines ranged from $250 to $19,500.

Another dozen salary updates added

12 entities have received updates for fiscal year 2011. Today’s updates mostly come from educational entities and local districts.The salary information includes gross compensation for employees, which includes not only wages, but also benefits, bonuses, and incentives. Top Utah employers updated for 2011

The state’s top two employers are the only businesses in the state who employ over 10,000 employees each.

The Department of Defense, in Clearfield, and The University of Utah, in Salt Lake City, both employ numbers in the 10,000-14,999 range, according to information from the Department of Workforce Services.

The Utah’s Right database containing all of the top employers has now been updated for 2011, and can be found here: http://bit.ly/ePGSnQ

Over 68,000 businesses are available, and are sorted and searchable by county. The database includes information about the business name, the county they conduct business in, and the number of people they have employed, on average, in 2011.

Other top employers include Provo’s Brigham Young University, and the Department of Treasury, located in Ogden.
