NEW liquor law violation database

6 01 2012

Liquor license violations from the Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control are now available online on UtahsRight.com.

The database can be found here: http://bit.ly/x8VzRT

The database, which holds over 800 records, lists liquor law violations for the last 10 years (June 2001- June 2011), listed by establishment name. Addresses and locations are listed with establishments when available.

Establishments were fined or had their liquor licenses temporarily suspended for many different offenses, most often for serving alcohol to minors, employees not having a name badge, or allowing non-members to enter the bars (for earlier years when memberships were required to enter bars).

Only licensed establishments that received violations from the DABC are included in this database. Violations that were later dismissed are not included. If a citation is listed as still being adjudicated, but the business no longer has a liquor license, the alleged violations are listed in this database.
